The term Somatics comes from the Greek word "Soma" meaning living body and is a holistic approach to movement and embodiment focusing on the internal perception of the body, rather than just its external appearance or physical abilities. You may find somatics helpful for musculo-skeletal aches and pains and restoring functional movement and posture.
