The South West Coast Path Association (SWCPA) is a charity that has been caring for the South West Coast Path since it was first created in 1973.

What kind of work do they fund and deliver?

  • They champion: they are a voice for the Trail and the communities which it connects at local, regional and national levels.
  • They empower: Trail-users by providing the detailed information they need to explore safely and enjoyably whilst also introducing less-confident groups to the Path in local group sessions.
  • They restore: the Trail after storm and extreme weather events which cause land slips and cliff falls.
  • They improve: routes, infrastructure and surfacing to elevate the overall experience of the Path.
  • They build resilience: they are working with partners to develop future-proofing plans for the Trail.

Date and Time: Saturday 8th June 10am - 1:30pm
